Not that we need and excuse, but …
In these, uncertain time’s we feel that it is more important than ever to recognise and acknowledge our wonderful band of volunteers during National Volunteer week.
The Committee and Players of the West Preston Lakeside Football Club would like to Thank our wonderful band of volunteers. The Roosters would not be the club we are without all of your hard work and support. You are the lifeblood of a large community club. As we hopefully come to the end of these difficult times and can once again see our Red, White and Blue jumper running around the footy field – we look forward to welcoming you all back with open arms.

Speaking of our Community, as we struggle along with no footy or much else to keep us entertained and socially interactive, We’d also like to take our hat off to those Players and supporters who have in a small way been giving back to the local community via the Darebin Emergency relief initiative. Giving up their own valuable free time, helping the more vulnerable citizens in our heartland and distributing much needed food and goods during these trying times.

Well done to our Rooster family. Please continue to take care of yourselves, and well see you all soon at the Footy.
